Floor space to move materials around manufacturing, logistics, construction sites and the built environment can be limited. This provides a challenge to production and logistics teams, and construction workers.
Lean Move® provides solutions to empower efficient manoeuvres in tight spaces, lifting and lowering or manipulating of loads, to increase productivity and safety, for the benefit of the people, the greatest assets within organisations.
The image below shows a 1.5 tonne EMOVEFORK™ movement solution for the process industry, to eliminate forklifts and associated risks, and improving efficiency as this system does not require a forklift licence, which means more operators can use it with simple training. The manoeuvrability also speeds up the transfer times.

Forklift trucks have their place in these processes, but to operate these safely around people can be highly challenging. Forklifts account for a significant amount of accidents and deaths globally. In the UK, there have been years where 5 forklift accidents per workday occurred and generally one in 5 deaths are caused by forklifts, crushing is one of the prevalent causes. https://ukmha.org.uk/about-safetember/#:~:text=As%20an%20industry%2C%20we%20bear,every%20workday%20in%20the%20UK.
The problem is the sheer weight and power of these machines, as they require a counterbalance due to their cantilever setup.
What if you had the forklift capabilities but less of the risk and more manoeuvrability? Say no more. EMOVEFORK™ is the most manoeuvrable fork lifting solution in the market. Imagine being able to have controls so haptic you can move 3 tonnes of load with two-hand controls and turn on the spot with ease. Imagine being able to spin on the spot whilst the operator is spinning on the spot, too rather than walking around a large 360 circle to achieve the turn, as is the case with most tiller control pallet lifters. This can cause strain injuries when chasing the load around. There is a solution to moving, lifting, and manipulating of your load, customised to your application, a safe, efficient and electric solution.
Being able to move precisely, quickly and safely at the same time reduces costs, increases productivity and eliminates risks.
See the video below, demonstrating a turn in a tight storage unit with a 700kg pallet of paving slabs. The EMF1.5K is a 1,500 kg electric system with the option to engineer a solution to a specific need, or standard solutions with central outrigger arms or on the sides or even adjustable. Lifting strokes can be configured from a few hundred millimetres to metres.
When the operator engages the controls, the sound is the two hand safety feature engaging. The machine immediately stops if one hand is removed from one of the controllers.
See our blog on the anti-crush technology we employ on our hand controlled systems.
Our remote controlled systems employ two hand controls, bump and proximity sensors.
